Easy to Schedule Options for Speech Therapy
Private Pay:
Private pay allows families to access speech therapy without waiting on insurance approvals or authorizations. This option offers the most flexibility in scheduling, frequency, and therapy goals. We provide clear, upfront pricing so families know exactly what to expect, and our team is always happy to discuss recommended session plans based on your child’s needs.
Step-Up Scholarship:
Playful Paths Speech Therapy is an approved provider for the Step Up For Students Scholarship, the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities (FES-UA). This program allows eligible Florida families to use scholarship funds toward speech therapy services. Once approved through Step Up, sessions can be scheduled just like private pay, with billing handled through the scholarship platform to reduce out-of-pocket costs.
Tricare East (In-Network):
We are an in-network provider with TRICARE East, administered by Humana Military. Coverage eligibility, referrals, and authorizations are determined by the beneficiary’s TRICARE plan (such as TRICARE Prime or TRICARE Select). Our team helps families understand referral requirements, verify eligibility, and navigate the authorization process so therapy can begin as smoothly as possible. Services are provided in accordance with TRICARE coverage guidelines and access standards
Aetna’s Commercial Insurance (In-Network):
We are an in-network provider for Aetna commercial insurance plans. Coverage and benefits vary by policy, and some plans may require prior authorization or a physician referral before services begin. Our office assists with benefit verification and will review expected copays or deductibles with you before starting therapy whenever possible.
