• Our Sessions are 1 on 1, never in a group setting and are administered in a private setting so the focus is on your child and their progress

• Our methodology is Child-led, play-based therapy tailored to early language, AAC, CAS, feeding and a variety of speech related needs

• Sessions are typically 1 hour in length, unless medical necessity dictates otherwise

• We make starting and continuing therapy easy and simple. Our focus is on the therapy, and not the administrative burden of starting and continuing

• We often are able to begin without a referral, approvals, authorizations, or a maze of paperwork

• Scheduling typically allows for services to begin within 2 weeks of your consult call

• Parent coaching: We equip families with tools to support communication at home. We do not shy away from answering questions within our scope of practice related to behavior, routines, or future progress.

• Collaborative care: Bridging school, home, and therapy for cohesive development. We will work with all stakeholders (at your discretion) to ensure carry over and continued success.

Lauren Somerville, MA, CCC‑SLP, is a Florida native with a passion for early intervention and feeding therapy. Rooted in her experience across public schools, in‑home care, and pediatric feeding, Lauren launched Playful Paths to make therapy more accessible and remove the administrative burdens that families often encounter when seeking out speech therapy for their children.
