Ashtyn Leatherwood is a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant who brings a patient, supportive, and individualized approach to every session. She is passionate about helping children build confidence through communication and believes that even small steps can lead to meaningful progress. Ashtyn focuses on creating a positive, engaging environment where clients feel comfortable taking risks, practice new skills, and celebrate their growth along the way.
She has experience working with pediatric clients, including children with autism and ADHD, and supports a range of communication areas such as articulation, expressive language, social communication, and AAC. Ashtyn values collaboration and consistency, working closely with families to ensure progress carries over beyond sessions and into everyday life.
Known for her warm and approachable style, Ashtyn builds strong relationships by incorporating each child’s interests into therapy and maintaining clear, supportive communication with families. She believes that trust and connection are the foundation for meaningful progress.
Outside of therapy, Ashtyn enjoys staying active through rodeo, hiking, and paddleboarding—and she’s even a professional breakaway roper.
