Nicole Miller is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant whose passion for helping children communicate grew from her background in education. Before entering the speech-language pathology field, Nicole worked as a teacher and later taught children online, where she discovered how much she enjoyed working one-on-one with children and helping build their confidence, language, and communication skills.

Nicole earned her Bachelor’s degree in Child Study from St. Joseph’s University in New York and her Master’s degree in Literacy from Long Island University. She is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Communication Science and Disorders at Florida State University. Her experience spans preschool through middle school, including children with diverse learning needs and abilities, and her special interests include early language development, fluency, and speech sound production.

At Playful Paths, Nicole brings a patient, encouraging, and individualized approach to therapy. She values building trust, creating a safe and positive environment, and understanding each child’s unique strengths, interests, and communication style. She finds it especially rewarding to help children find their voice, build confidence, and celebrate meaningful breakthroughs alongside their families.

Outside of work, Nicole enjoys making memories with her three daughters, spending time at the beach, and watching or playing sports. As part of a big sports-loving family, she can often be found attending a game or cheering from home. She looks forward to bringing that same energy and enthusiasm into therapy through fun games, stories, and engaging activities.
