Joseph Allen leads Operations at Playful Paths Speech Therapy, where he oversees the day-to-day systems that keep the practice running smoothly. A graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Joseph brings a strong background in business management, compliance, and organizational leadership. His role is focused on ensuring the company remains in full compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards while also supporting staff morale and team performance.

Joseph’s career path has always centered on building child- and family-focused programs. Before joining Playful Paths, he served as Personnel Manager at The Watermine in Reston, VA, General Manager at Kids First Swim School in Chantilly, and Aquatics Director at Aqua Tots of Centreville. In these roles, he not only managed operations and staff but also worked directly with children—including infants, school-aged kids, and individuals with special needs—helping them develop confidence, safety skills, and resilience.

At Playful Paths, Joseph combines his experience in both operations and child services to make sure families and therapists alike have the support they need.
