Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (MA, CCC-SLP) - 2017
National certification from The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
As a native Floridian born and raised in Orlando, I have lived almost all over central Florida and in the Tampa Bay area.
I graduated from the University of South Florida in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts. I went on to work as an SLPA for a private special needs school and then for the public school system in Orlando, FL. I then got accepted into the University of Central Florida and graduated with my Master of Arts in 2016 and received my ASHA C's in 2017.
Since then, I have worked in a variety of settings and with different populations. I found a passion for early intervention in home health, working with the birth to 3 population and early language and child development. Working in that setting opened many doors for me, such as working at PPEC (basically a medical day care) and helped expand my skill set exponentially.
I have discovered a newfound passion for feeding therapy and dysphagia in pediatrics! I started Playful Paths Speech Therapy because I want to continue to make a positive difference in children's lives. I also want therapy to be accessible to all families and don't want there to be barriers that prohibit them from getting what they need.
I look forward to hearing from and working with you!
